Our Partners
Precision Sails
We went an entire season with sail bags and lazy jacks that 1) did not fit our sails and 2) could not zip close. This was unsightly and dangerous. The good Canadians at Precision Sails stepped up and fitted us with new bags and lines. They also solved our low wind issue with a beautiful spinnaker. If you need new cloth, Precision Sails is your best bet.
Total Boat
We spent over a year refitting and repairing Magic Dragon, almost exclusively using Total Boat products. We paid retail for those products, and we would gladly pay retail again. Their stuff is just that good. They are boaters and yachties just like us, and they understand whatever project you are going through.
Since the refit days, we've had the good fortune of meeting and partnering with the people at Total Boat. Give them a look if you need boat products.
JB Langley
Born out of a desire to innovate and proven in extreme wilderness conditions, JB Langley has made its way to the sailing world. Their Altus Pro jacket and bibs keep us dry and comfortable in the most extreme conditions. There are many names in the foul weather gear game, but you should give JB Langley an honest try.
(and they have some cool specifically for sailors coming soon!)
Hollyland
Communication is crucial on a both, for both safety and sanity reasons. On our 50 foot boat, communicating from one end to the other while fighting the anchor or sails was a tall task. Or at least it was a tall task until Hollyland came aboard. We are not intercom experts, but we do know that the Solidcome C1 headsets work very well. We’ve been pleased so far.
Highfield Boats
Talk to any cruiser, and they will tell you that you should get the best dinghy you can afford. When out on anchor, your big boat is your house, but your dinghy is your car - well, more like your SUV.
You want your dinghy to be rugged, capable, and good looking. You want it to keep you dry and get you from A to B quickly. You want a Highfield.
We paid retail for our Highfield and do not regret that decision one bit. Since then, we’ve had the good fortune of joining the Highfield family.
