All good things... Emily's last day onboard

The solitude of cruising is one of its many charms, but sometimes taking on extra crew is the exact spice you need to keep things interesting. Well, for the last several weeks, we've had the best crew anyone could ask for. Kirstin's dear friend, Emily, joined us as we made our way up the coast of the Carolinas. It's been a fantastic time, but like all good things, it must come to an end.

But, before Emily left the boat, we crushed a few more fantastic days. We sailed to Oriental, NC to get coffee. Battled the Neuse River all the way to New Bern, NC. And capped the trip off by taking in the fantastic Tryon Palace and adjoining gardens.
